I have been trying to come up with a course that I can take to better prepare for the COMLEX! I have heard about this website called comlexedge.com where they have online videos all based on symptoms... it all sounds really good but before I cough the dough I want to see if anyone had any feedback for me???😕

I took COMLEXedge for my step one last year... here were the positives:
1) the teacher was amazing he explained things in way that helped me really get things(some for the first time)... much better than goljian!!! 👍
2) I love the fill in the blank packets... they really do help you remember things 👍
3) the material for the test was right on the money for step I 👍
4) they give you a comprehensive schedule for studying that really works 👍

... negstives:
1) some of the online videos froze in the middle and so I had to start from begining sometimes... it was annoying 👎
2) they dont have questions(they do recommend Kaplan for questions though) 👎

altogether...
I recommend them as long as they have fixed their video problem... I dont believe I would have done as well if I hadn't gone through their videos a couple of times... I am taking them again for step two(if the video issues have been fixed)

i took their course last year. overall it was really good. the material was on the money for the boards. i learned a lot and retained it. i think the high yield was very helpful and the cd was convenient.

i had problems with their video quality. a bunch of the videos froze and took some time to be updated. i'll probably take their step 2 course if they fixed the video issues. i saw they offer a guarantee this year so i guess it's not much of a risk.

UHH, anyone want to give some advice that has more than one post and didnt become a member this month??

Thanks for the advice! anyone have any preference between KAPLAN and USMLEworld for step one??

I took Kaplan Q-bank review for step one and thought it was very appropriate. I recommend that you go through all the questions atleast twice though.
I am hearing that for step two USMLEworld is more appropriate so I am going to take that. USMLE world is a lot cheaper too!!

hey... I am very intersted in looking for comlex edge... do you think it boosted up your score more then w/o it?

comlex edge is essentially having the pages taken out of a book such as BRS, having the buzz words deleted, and then listening to someone write them in.

it takes FOREVER, since you literally watch every letter being printed on the page.
