committee letter problems?

Hey,
Has anyone else had a similar problem:

I got an email from Maryland after going for an interview yesterday saying that they haven't received my letters of recommendation. I called them right away and told them that i sent my committee letter via AADSAS June 9th and they said it wasn't enough. I also heard the same thing from UMDNJ. What do they mean?!

I sent the remainder of the letters separately from Interfolio but it won't get there until after Dec. 1st. ARGGGGHHH

Wait so you got an interview before your application was complete with the LOR's?

i guess they must have met with the committee to review the interviewees they had yesterday and realized that. My application was technically complete but they must have been going through it more thoroughly to make a final decision and realized it wasn't sufficient?

What do you mean "not enough"?
A single committee letter doesn't suffice as a LOR requirement?

A single committee letter usually has 3-5 letters of recommendation within it. For example mine had 4 letters, my dentist LOR was separate. So I have 5 all together. But, 1 committee and 1 dentist.
