Lots of schools indeed like committee LORs, and they also know that LORs take time to arrive.Hello,
I am applying this cycle and I submitted my primary application on July 19. I know that the sooner the primary is submitted the faster you get verified and the better chances you have of getting accepted. I was anxious about submitting my application this late but I'm glad it's finally complete and I'm confident that it accurately represents my strengths as a candidate. My issue is that my school has a committee process that they highly recommend you go through. Additionally, the school I want to attend prefers a committee letter. Going through this process has delayed me because I've struggled to collect some of the documents they require (i.e 6 evaluations from professors). I'm worried that going through committee will delay me even more and might not end up being fruitful. Do schools prefer you have a committee letter even if it means receiving the complete application later? I am looking for guidance on whether to apply on my own or to stick with the committee process.
