Hi All,
I was hoping that some of you who have gone through this process/are going through/ look at applications would provide some insight into:
1. Common mistakes that students make when completing their application
2. Common mistakes that students make while on internship interviews
3. Things that you wish you would have known before you started applying for internship.

I can list a couple pieces of advice that spring immediately to mind, sure:

-Be sure your cover letters are addressed to the correct person before sending them.

-While on interviews, act INTERESTED to be there; even if it's the very last meeting, you've been awake since 5 am, and you have to fly half-way across the country immediate afterward to another site, be as enthusiastic as you can muster; interviewers can tell if you aren't, and that can be a huge "ding" against you

I'm sure many other posters will have plenty more to add.

I think that I remember pulling that one during my grad school applications. 😳
