I'm wondering how the accelerated program at Howard and Northeastern University in Ohio stack up (to each other and across the board)? Specifically how does it compare to Union Leadership Program in Medicine in terms of competitiveness?

Does anyone have any other six year programs suggest?

NEUCOM is very difficult to get into if you are OOS. They accept like 100 people from Ohio but around 5 OOS even though a similar amount from OOS and IS apply. No idea about Howard.

I would pick Union/Albany over these two programs, though Union and AMC apparently both suck with financial aid.

There are two other six-year BS/MD programs, one is Penn State/Jefferson and the other is UMKC.

...are you an Ohio resident? If so, then go for NEUCOM. As far as quality of education, I don't really have any answers. I do have a question, though. Why do you want to do a 6-year program? I'm not saying you need to putter around at a community college for 6 years, but getting your degree in four years is pretty fast (unless you're non-traditional and starting late, then I see where you're coming from).
