Competency based clinics?

I think it could only be a positive thing. Our clinic follows a new-model competency program, which is what most schools are switching to, I believe.
We have a certain number of requirements to do and then we can test our competency. For example, we have to do 7 anterior endos during our D3 year before doing molar endo. That 7th anterior endo is a competency. One passes, and they can do molar endo.
