Hi, I haven't considered US schools until now and I have no idea whether I would be considered competitive as an international? Help!?

MCAT: 11-11-11-O
Undergrad GPA: Not worth mentioning... (~3.0)
MSc GPA: 3.9

Played competitive soccer and coached, lots of travel experience, international volunteering, sit on the board of trustees for an NGO in Africa, founded several clubs, average clinical volunteering, 4 second-author papers (plus a first-author manuscript), several competitive research awards...

Am I totally screwed by my uGPA?

US allopathic med schools judge one by undergrad GPA and MCAT score primarily. Your grad school GPA is not a helpful factor. I'd have to say, you don't have a chance as your numbers stand. US osteopathic med schools do factor the grad school GPA into an overall application GPA. If your overall GPA is over a 3.0, and you are willing to consider the DO route to medicine, you can read more about it on SDN's Pre-Osteopathic forum.

Hmmm, depressing.

Is any credit given for trends in GPA? Mine progressed 2.3 -> 2.8 -> 3.3 -> 3.9 during undergrad?

Thanks for the advice.
