There seems to be a lack of disclosure on the AEGD acceptance threads for some of the top AEGD programs (Oklahoma, Alabama, VA's, San Antonio group) in regards to Class ranks/gpa. Does someone have any numbers, class rank/gpa, or just know some people who have received interviews at top tier AEGD's that can shed some light on this?

Thank you!

bump, hoping someone has somewhat of an idea?

These forums tend to be weighted towards people who are early in their dental schooling process. Try asking this question on dentaltown where there are more dental professionals across the experience spectrum.

Although I have no doubt that those may be top programs in terms of training, most of the dentists I know weighed location heavily in their ranking. This means that great training programs in relatively unattractive cities may be easier to match into than you think.

Thanks for the responses.

Cmistry- I had not considered that but that is a great thought. I just said San Antonio because it seems to be the hot topic in this forum. I'm just wanting to have myself in a position at the end of dental school to receive an interview if I can!

Thanks again.
