Has anyone received the email notifiying you that you are complete? If so, when did you send your application?

I got a complete email yesterday. You can check my mdapplicants profile for when I submitted (I don't remember)

edit: submitted 8/9....I know my LORs were there weeks ago so I've actually been complete for a while, but I assume they just got to my application and sent the status update yesterday.

just checked mine in fact. still says that they don't know online, and still no email. They sent me an email saying subject: Secondary Application for Admissions Complete but i believe this is an automatic reply directly after submitting and that I have to wait for another email. (This was Aug. 6th...which I believe is the same day I sent it in).

And still no GW complete...and yes, I will say this every time I reply to a completion post until I get it

do you mean your secondary was complete? or everything? because i definitely received the secondary complete email but not the official "everything is received, please wait for an interview" email.

I had the same doubt beacause I received the secondary complete email, and I asked them about it and they answered me everything is complete, please wait for the committee to check you application.
What I do not know if they would have told me that without me asking first.

I submitted mine online on 8/2/05 and received a complete email on 8/15/05.

have you checked your status on the website? i seem to recall the people at the admissions office were very nice, you could try sending them an email to follow up?

yes i did check. i also called and they said to wait for their email. 🙁

Same thing here...no word on whether my application is complete or not. This is what the website says:

"Our records indicate that your Secondary Application has been received, but it has not been determined whether your application is complete or not at this time. Once that determination has been made, you will be notified via email."

Yeah, that's what it says for me too. ugh...it's really not a very difficult thing for them to determine. Oh well, we're at their mercy....woohoo

Yeah, still waiting. I submitted 8/3 but they probably didn't get my committee recommendation until 8/10. I called and was told to wait for my e-mail, but I am a little afraid that the recommendation might have gone astray.

Out of curiosity, I just went to this link and I was able to log on. Penn State received my AMCAS a while back. I wrote them almost two weeks ago as to when I might get the secondary invitation. I also called them last week. They just told me it will be 'soon'.

I am gonna go ahead and complete the secondary online..but I guess I am not gonna submit it until I get the invitation from them. Should I call them again? I don't want to irritate them though.

they still have not told me that i am complete...i called them after i found out that GW never got my LoR, but they told me to wait for an email....waiting for an email doesn't tell me if they didn't get my LoR!!!!! 😡

i actually never got the chance to ask before they angrily told me to wait for an email.....but i never gave them my name or anything, so i'm still safe to call back and rephrase how i ask them....i.e., just ask about the letters and not say the word "application".

maybe tomorrow if i have any time, which i doubt

Let us know how that call goes. I had the EXACT same dillemma wherein I called due to concern about whether or not they got my LOR, but was told to wait for an e-mail to say I was complete. 🙁

guys, i feel you. i submitted my penn state stuff over a month ago and still no complete email. They told me they have my LOR (i emailed them) so then what is taking so long? It doesnt make sense. The secondary was not that hard for someone to quickly glance over and see that everything is there. 😡

They said they'll send me an email when it is complete.

I said that another school never got them and they were sent out in June.

They said call back in a week. 😡 😡 😡 😡

once again, the sec just interrupts me w/ "we will send you bla bla bla bla bla"

and i once again asked what if my LoR isn't received

they told me just to resend it w/o telling me if they really have it or not!

it is so strange that some people are already complete, having sent their applications much later than others. I sent mine in on august 1, and still nothing.
