To all of the lucky pre-meds who got accepted to medical school this cycle - its time to start thinking about the supplies that you will need to be a successful medical student come this fall. I have a medical kit for sale that was originally purchased in 2013 and was sold to me by an older medical student at my school for our required clinical courses. It is professional grade and is in complete working order with no problems that I am able to find. I am a former medical student at a medical school in the Midwest – dropped out in the first semester and am now looking to recover some of my losses seeing as I have no real use for it since I am no longer in the medical field.
Included in the kit:
Welch Allyn sphygmomanometer – model DS58 (https://www.welchallyn.com/content/...eters/platinum_series_ds58_hand_aneroids.html)
- Comes with zippered case that has a padded slot for the hand aneroid, as well as an internal pouch for pressure cuffs.
- Platinum series hand aneroid
- Pediatric 20-29cm pressure cuff
- Adult 29-42cm pressure cuff
- Adult large 34-52cm pressure cuff
Welch Allyn Convertible rechargeable handle for ophthalmoscope and otoscope – 71000-C series
(https://www.welchallyn.com/content/...-5-v-nickel-cadmium-rechargeable-handles.html)
- Comes with 3.5v nickel cadmium convertible rechargeable handle (model #710189-C) with internal plug in for charging.
- Matching Ophthalmoscope attachment
- Matching Otoscope attachment
- Comes with zippered case with formed slots for handle as well as attachments.
128 and 512hz tuning forks
Medical protractor goniometer x2
Snellen eye chart x2
Reflex hammer x2
Comes with a black zippered hand bag with removable adjustable shoulder strap that comfortably holds all of the above as well as a stethoscope (not-included). So this has everything that you should need for your pre-clinical and clinical years at medical school except a stethoscope.
I purchased it back in August for $500 and used it I think twice. So I am looking to sell it for $500. If you are located in the continental US I will pay for shipping up to $25, otherwise I am willing to meet in central Maryland/northern VA/southern PA if you want to see it in person before purchasing. Your school will try and sell you a kit that includes all of the above as well as a stethoscope (probably a cardiac III) for about $1,000. You can get this kit and then a similar stethoscope on amazon for around $650 - thus saving a ton of money.
If you are interested please message me and I can send you more pictures of the kit and/or answer any further questions that you have about it. Thanks for the interest!
