This is my first forum, and I really hope to get some advice especially from anyone who went through a similar situation.

I am graduating in May 2015 (very soon) with a community health science B.S. I went to CC in the year 2008, part time, in my local CC and payed out of state tuition because I was not a resident then. I became a Permanent Resident in 2012 and transferred then to GMU. In between those years I worked/shadowed/internship from three different dental offices. When I finally transferred to GMU I took Organic chemistry in the first semester and received a D (I got a B in lab). I re-took the class on the following semester and got a D again! (I feel very embarrassed). This made me take a different route I switched from bio major to community health and pretty much gave up on my dental dream. Pretty much now I have BIO I & II (A's), CHEM I (B), CHEM II (C), Human A. and Physiology I &II (A's), Microbiology (B) I know that the last two are not pre req's but are recommended. I have been on Dean List my last three semesters but there where no science courses. My QUESTION is... what can I do from here? I still need to take ORGO I&II, PHY I&II, and BIO CHEM. Should I take them as an undeclared student, post-bacc, master school? I started realizing that time will pass anyway, but I am turning 25 in MAY, and really need to figure my route now!

How will my CC classes affect me? Did anyone go through something like this? is it horrible if I take the rest of my pre-reqs at CC? :/ to save money! THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading this! any advice is greatly appreciated!

CC GPA= 3.0
GMU GPA = 3.3

My advice would be to either talk to your school's pre-health advisors or talk to a dental school's admissions office directly. Either would have good advice on the subject. But, I imagine that most schools would want you taking those difficult classes at universities, since CC is generally considered easier than a standard university. Good luck!
