Hello,

I am very much interested in a compounding job in my area. All I have is a few weeks experience with a chain. Any advice on how to get the job? Thank you!

Job as a tech or pharmacist? I think compounding pharmacies vary on how they hire, especially by state. Some places might want additional certification and training to show you're capable of working for a compounding pharmacy, especially with all the recent controversy. A compounding pharmacy I rotated at required techs to have additional certification beyond the normal pharmacy technician.
I know of a compounding pharmacist who got a job simply by asking around and applying. The pharmacist didn't have any real work experience and was trained on the job. Also had to sign a contract saying couldn't leave the job for the first 2 years I think because it takes a while to train.
