I have the NAPLEX in a one week, I'm pretty comfortable with the clinical and calculations parts, but do I need to know any of the compounding stuff? I used the APhA book to study but pretty much skipped over the first 3-4 chapters on compounding, drug delivery, sterility, etc. Should I focus on any of that material??

thanx

Yes. I had three or four questions about it, and everyone I know had a couple at least. Appleton & Lange is better for this particular section, though. And actually my old boss was the best source... he has been in practice for almost 40 years, and it's his funny stories about his blunders in compounding when he was young that I remembered, not what I studied - and that was what I got on the NAPLEX. 🙂
