I have lab tomorrow and I'm trying to prepare for it. I have a question.

First Rx...
Mineral Oil 500 mL
Acacia 125 g
Syrup 100 mL
Flavor qs
Alcohol 60 mL
Purified Water qs 1000 mL
Dispense 90 mL
Sig: 30 mL HS prn

Second Rx...

Castor Oil 30 mL
Tween 80
Span 40 aa qs 5 %
Flavored Syrup qs 60 mL
Sig: Take entire contents @ 4PM afternoon before procedure.
Follow in 4 hrs with X-Prep.

QUESTION...
These scripts are Mineral Oil 50% and Castor Oil 50%. When I make the labels for my products, do I list the drug as "Mineral Oil 50%" and "Castor Oil 50%" or do I need to include any information about the emulsifying agents (acacia or tweens and span)?

Thanks for any help you can give!

For some reason, I still have my old compounded drugs from last year. I did the first prescription or something very similar to it in my class. On my label, it says 60 mL Mineral Oil 50% Pink Lemonade Emulsion. The Pink Lemonade was the flavoring.
Hope this helps.

In "real" life....you only list your active ingredients. So your label would read what how the rx was written "Mineral Oil 50%" etc...

You don't list inactive ingredients, unless your school specifically requires that - which could be the case. So...early in the lab, I'd get that question clarified.
