i always see people on the board they say they are some type of comp/eng students, so hopefully SOMEONE can help me 😉

here's my question, seems silly i know:

what type of memory is in use when you are performing the cut and paste operation?

i think its DRAM, but i'm not 100% sure. any thoughts? possibly SRAM?

thank you times a million!

DRAM. DRAM is used for most of your large memory operations/applications. SRAM is used for caching by the processor for calculations and whatnot.
