  1. Pre-Medical
Ive decided to return to school to complete my degree in computer science. It would take another yr to complete and can really boost up my gpa. I switched from c.s. to physician assistant only to go back. Id just have to take over organic and take physiics. Do you think there would be any bias because of the degree?

In short, no. It doesn't matter at all what you get your degree in, as long as you satisfy the pre-medical requirements for admission at the schools you are applying to. Just make sure you have good clinical exposure, which it sounds like you have as a PA, and be able to explain, "why medicine now?" But that's all common sense advise for a non-trad applicant.

You degree shouldn't be an issue as long as you can handle the pre-med required coursework, do well on the MCAT, get your grades up. If your school has a health professions office, I would recommend a visit (it helped me quite a bit).

I work in a hospital for 3 yrs now so there my exposure. I have a bulk of pre-reqs from the pre-p.a. program. I just want to get my bachelors and make some progress. I cant do anything with 121 credits, I need to get that peice of paper!
