Hey there everybody. Sorry if this is a repeat of former threads but I thought I'd give my 2 cents about comquest's step 2 question bank, so here they are:
- Having taken step 2 once before, I wish I would've known about this question bank beforehand. The questions they have are eerily similar to the actual comlex in that some of them are vague, worded weird enough to confuse you, and some of them are just plain silly... Having said that, it's actually a REALLY good way to get ready for the style of questions you'll see on the actual step 2 comlex. I used the ComBank questions the first time around (I went through them all twice) and while they were good questions, they were written too clearly.
- ComQuest, being a new company (I think), is extremely open to suggestions and comments about their questions. I've found 1 or 2 questions that due to the wording they used I chose a specific answer but ended up getting it wrong. I emailed them with my concern/question and within about 2 hours (never longer than that) someone had emailed me back with either an apology for the confusion AND/OR and explanation about why a certain answer choice is correct. They're VERY helpful and willing to work with you to get to the right answer so that you're better prepared on test day.
- I'm also doing usmleworld's question bank and while uworld's bank is a bit better about letting you highlight and strikethrough stuff, comquest explained that they didn't do that so that users could access their question banks from anywhere w/out having to download software so I understand that...
- Their collection of medical-jurisprudence questions is quite enough to prepare you for the random questions you'll have with 5 latin answers, and the OMM questions are good enough too. Basically: Sacrum, chapmann's points and spinal levels...
Long story short, for the money (75 bucks for 1 month) it's the best Qbank I've found and will definitely be using them for Step 3. www.comquestmed.com is the website so go check it out.
That is all. I'll post again after I take the test again and give another review.
PS: In no way, shape, or form am I employed by or connected to ComQuest.
