Hey guys
I'm a 4th year med student who just got my step II score back. I got a 200, but my step I score was a 225.
I didnt let the programs I applied to know about my new score, but I'm concerned whats going to happen now. I'm applying to medicine programs and I've gotten some interviews at some really good programs.
any tips are greatly appreciated.

Well, the good news is that you've already got some interviews lined up. I'm in a similar situation and if the step 2 scores come up during an interview I plan on referencing some of my Shelf scores (included in our MSPE) which were at about the same percentile as my step 1's. Something to consider at any rate. Best of luck!!

i can promise. You'll be fine . Youre in good shape~

There are some programs that will not rank you unless you have passed Step 2. Most however WILL rank you based on Step 1 & once that is done all they really care about is that you pass.
If your top choice ends up being one that does want a Step 2, you could email them individually & let them know what you got rather than releasing the score to everyone.
Good Luck.
