Concerned about verifying EC Hours

Hey All,

The vast majority of my EC hours can easily be verified as they were structured programs--but much of my physician shadowing was done informally with some of it being 3-4 years ago.

I am somewhat worried that, if the AdCom was to call in and ask about me---the front receptionist might not recall who I was or be unable to recall me. Heck even the doctor might not remember me.

It seems a bit neurotic, but should I approach these offices again and let them know beforehand that I am listing them and they might receive a call?? Should I go to some of these offices and ask for the physicians direct email so as to list that over the general office number?

I don't think an adcom is going to be suspicious of a doc not remembering a student that shadowed them from 3-4 years ago. Some docs don't remember the names of patients they saw last week.

It becomes a moot point once you realize that the chances of an adcom calling to verify a shadowing experience is slim.
