I read in a program website the following important dates...

Applicants may begin applying to these programs as of September 2.
Applicant Registration Deadline November 30, 2008
Rank Order Listing Begins January 15, 2009
Quota Change Deadline January 31, 2009
Late Registration Deadline February 25, 2009
Match Day March 19, 2009

What does Late registration Deadline mean? Does it mean you have time to apply till February 25?

Note – those dates pertained to last year’s match.

You have until November 30, 2009 to register for the match, but you can still register up until February 24, 2010 (the late registration deadline). It’ll just cost you an extra $50.

Quota Change deadline applies to the programs. Programs submit the number of available spots for the match. If they offer someone a pre-match, their available slots decreases by one, and they have to notify NRMP. Likewise, if they get additional funding for an extra slot, they need to notify NRMP.
