I went to the CEME course, bought the lecture mp3s also, plus did Med challenger. I thought the course was actually surprisingly high yield. There was stuff they lectured about and I was thinking, "Seriously? You want me to learn this irrelevant nonsense?" Yep. Payed off. They know what to focus on. Also, the mp3s were nice to plug in and listen to on the way to and from work, which otherwise would've been wasted time. The flash cards were an extra $75 which were good for last minute, night before recall, which helped too.
The med challenger questions were okay, in that they were very hard, almost too hard and detailed so the yield was lower, maybe low-moderate yield, but not worthless. They did force me to memorize and hit on some things you never, ever see in the ER that helped. Also, they were difficult enough to create the "oh sh-t! I'm gonna fail" factor, motivating me to study more. This is my review based on the (knock on wood) assumption that I passed. If I get the big F, then I'll be sure to come back and say how much they sucked. Lol
Hopefully that won't be needed.
