Has anyone heard of students getting accepted on condition that they finish their last quarter of prereqs, only to get turned away if the grades are poor?!

I'm wondering after an acceptance, what kind of grades the admission committee will regard satisfactory for the last Spring quarter before pharm school. C, B- or does it really matter as long as you pass??
Dear god, I hope it doesn't HAVE to be A's.

It may depend on the school but generally C or better is what is accepted. C-or below forfiets your seat. Look at the schools website, there should be some kind of info. :luck:

For my acceptance I had to get a C in all the required prereqs that I had not finished yet. I don't know about all schools. I am sure they each have their own set of standards.

My conditional acceptance letter stated the course numbers and the specific grade required to retain my spot in the class. My school required a grade of B or better in my last pre-req, anything lower and my offer would be rescinded. Some schools use much more vague terminology like "satisfactory completion." I have heard of some schools that require you to maintain some sort of standard of academic excellence. I would call the admissions office and ask them to clarify. I would guess you would be safe with B or better, if you are headed for C territory then definitely call and get the straight story from the admissions officer. :luck:

It was specifically stated in my admission offer.
Finish all required courses with a C or better.
