i dono if anyone else has this same problem....any insight would be great

anyways i got an underage when i was a freshman, i took a community alcohol class to have it erased from my criminal record. however i was on probation for a semester at school and it is on my school record. On post bac apps its asks to list any conduct violations etc. i called the judicial affairs department and they said that pre-med, pre-law and grad schools "sometimes" check.

first question is do yall think that a conduct violation such as this has a lot of weight on an acceptance decision?

second question do you think its even worth putting on because they might not even check?

These things really come back to bite you in the ass....come on i was a stupid freshman

😕

List it and move on...leaving it out is a much bigger problem.

I agree. Its kinda funny how small things like that can come up out of nowhere when people actually look for it. I bet you that when we move closer to the presidential election, someone will find some speeding ticket that a candidate got when he was a teenager...haha. So yes, its better to be honest about such things. It'll hurt more if they do check and assume you were hiding it.

If they ask for it on the application or whatever, then you have to put it in. Its on the same level as lying about grades, marital status, or whatever on any official form/application. We all take responsibility for what we do, and live by the choices we make. So to even consider withholding it defines your standing on ethics.
