Which of the following is a poor conductor of electricity?
a) aluminum
b) sodium
c) magnesium
d) calcium
e) phosphorus

Phosphorous

You are not really helping them if you just give them the answers.

OP : Metals are good conductors of electricity and heat. This question is testing you ability to distinguish between metals and non metals. MEtals are grouped in the periodic table on the left side, while Nonmetals are grouped on the right.

So basically you are trying to find out which element is a non metal.

Excellent, that's exactly what I thought too. The answer in the book was d) calcium, which I guess is a typo. Thanks!
