Do programs get to see your rank list once the match is completed? A program director told me that a mark of success is when you're ranked in the top 3 by your matched residents. I was just wondering what form this information comes to them in. Will the program I match at see they were ranked 6th?

No, programs do not have access to your rank list. The only reason they would know where you ranked them on your list would be if you told them.

PDs don't care where you matched them after the match. The only thing they care about is how deep in their own ranking list they had to go. Programs compare notes and if a program has to go deep or worse ends up in the scramble it's a big hit on the deemed popularity. But if they get their top 10 people to fill their 10 spots they couldn't care less if those folks ranked them 1st or 24th.

True - programs will however see where you matched. So for e.g., if you told them they were your #1, and they ranked you high enough to match, and then they see that you instead matched at, say Man's Greatest Hospital, then...you know....
