confused about application fee

so each school ahs a $40, $50 app fee. do i send it right after i submit my application ?

It is the supp fee if I am not mistaken. You pay the application fee through the AADSAS.

are these fees the same thing, b/c i heard that u have to pay first then only they look at the app but here it says they contact you first

Bumping this question. From what I heard, they do contact you and tell you instructions
