Confused about application timelines

So I am currently in my upper junior year going into my senior this 2017 fall, and will be taking the DAT this 2017 summer. I want to apply next 2018 summer so i can include my senior year classes in my gpa. Also, I need an extra semester after my 2018 senior year to take a couple more classes for my degree (biochem). I'm confused on how the timeline works out. I will apply 2018 summer but also be taking classes at my college in 2018 fall, so will I be getting interviews (fingers crossed) during the 2018 fall semester. And I'm aware dental schools start in the summer, so I'm guessing I have to stay at home from the beginning of 2019 to 2019 summer (granted i get accepted)? Or am I totally off?

You are correct, you will have the spring semester and summer of 2019 to relax and get ready for Dental school. Make sure to apply early.. Goodluck!
