I took the DAT recently and did not get the scores I wanted. Now those scores are sent to the schools I chose when I signed up for the DAT. I am going to take the DAT again in mid-July (out of the country in June). Will those scores get automatically replaced? Second question, i am going to send my app as soon as it gets out. Do my first scores, which are bad, get seen by schools even though I am going to take it again? I am afraid that I will get rejected from schools even though I have not taken the DAT the second time.

I hope someone understands this lol

the deed is done. schools will get copies of every test attempt when you submit your scores.

make sure you let the schools know that you plan on taking the test again and they'll generally throw back your app until your updated scores come in.

In AADSAS under your DAT scores you can mark that you will be retaking and give them the date. You are still taking them really early and I doubt a school would reject you in those 6 weeks from you turning in your application and you taking the test again. I know the score report you get is "unofficial" the day of your testing but fax it to the school as soon as you can. That way they know they should be expecting a new official report for you. It can't hurt anything. It's also showing you are really interested and care about your application.
