Confused about Howard

I've been accepted to Howard for next Fall and it looks like I'll be going there. I have looked at this forum for opinions on Howard and so far I have found a lot of negative but not a lot of positive. Please post if you have had a positive experience at Howard and are happy with your decision.

Also if you go to Howard, where do you live and how long is your commute? Im trying to decide if I should stay in DC or Arlington, VA area and just commute in. Thanks.

Ppl dog Howard cuz it's unorganized, which is kinda true. But, I got in for fall and I'm excited to go. Family atmosphere, not as competitive as other schools which is nice, and they've gotta be good at some stuff (after all they're the 5th oldest Dschool) even if I'm not sure what it is yet. You get out wat u put in at Dschool and I've heard Howard prepares you very well clinically. You'd probably learn more about special weird things at some huge research institution like UFlorida or Michigan, but that's not going to help as much as being the best trained in clinic. Holler at cha boi, Howard fall '08!
