PSA: Before rolling your eyes after looking at this post, I just want some input on what my school list is like, what I should add/remove, etc. My gut feeling right now is that it's a bit top heavy but I'm not sure which schools are worth cutting or adding.

Year in School: about to enter my 4th
Cumulative GPA/Science GPA: 3.94/3.94
MCAT: 524

Research: ~2500 hours. One mid author pub in journal w/ impact factor of 11. National award and conference (with presentation award at conference). I also do research for another organization, but do not have any pubs or anything with that, just one presentation.

Volunteering (clinical): ~290-300 hours at my local hospital

Physician shadowing: 185 hours - shadowed academic rotations at my university (Cardiology, GenMed, Heme, etc)

Non-clinical volunteering: >1000 hours for a public health, research based nonprofit I do work for. Did a lot with this organization. Another 350 or so with a public health advocacy group. I have major leadership with both of these

Extracurricular activities: Nothing major, some honors societies with leadership, a research ambassador at my uni, I write film reviews,

Employment history: Not technically employment, but got a year-long grant for my research

Teaching: organic chemistry tutor and will be TA this coming year

Specialty of interest: Probably oncology

Current school list:

All in-state schools (Ohio),
Boston University,
CWRU and Lerner COM,
Columbia,
Duke,
Emory,
Harvard,
Mount Sinai,
Indiana,
JHU,
NYU,
Northwestern,
Ohio State,
UPenn (the dream),
Brown,
UCSF,
Stanford,
UChicago,
Michigan,
Pitt,
Rochester,
Virginia,
Vandy,
WASHU,
Cornell,
Yale.

You should receive several interviews from your list. As long as you apply to all of your Ohio schools your list is not top heavy.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
@Goro and @LizzyM sorry to bother you, but is there any other input or suggestions you may have? I have just heard that the three of you (including Faha) have a lot of good expertise with school lists and top tier school advice.

Jeeze, the superstars are out in force now. You're golden.

Of your list, I agree with all except Brown as they too highly favor their own UGs.
Consider adding Jefferson, Hofstra, Einstein, Keck, UCSF, UCSD, U Miami, Mayo, BU

I'll be shocked if you don't get into top 10 school. agree with Goro's advice to remove Brown
