Confused about the AADSAS LOR process

So from my understanding, we get to put in our advisors' info into AADSAS and then the website will send an email to those requesting for the LOR/ committee letter. But is our application considered incomplete before the letters are received? If so, what is the point of me completing AADSAS in the beginning of June when my committee letter will not be sent until August 1st?

There's a difference between what AADSAS considers complete and what schools consider complete. AADSAS will process your junk and send it to schools without the letters and will send the letters to the schools when they eventually get there. Due to the fact that it takes several weeks for transcripts to be verified by AADSAS, those individuals submitting their application on June 1 have a little bit of play as to when their letters can actually arrive. But your August 1st business...that kind of sucks.
