If someone could help me out on this problem I would really appreciate it : ) Its actually #85 on the opted test. "Which of the following will undergo a free radical bromination most rapidly?"
- I thought that the most rapid rxn would come from the most stable radical that can be formed. So, I chose A, which would form a tertiary radical (most stable)... but the answer is C? Which is CH4 .... how does that make any sense?? I thought that would form the least stable radical. I checked and rechecked the answer... any help would be great...I am so confused 😕
Thanks
