okay, here's my situation. got early admissions into a state dental school. means i can't really apply to other schools once i send in my deposit. i like this school a lot, except it doesn't have dorms for students. but you guys think i should explore other schools like private or IVY ones even though I'm pretty satisfied with this one? think going to say upenn/case could get me farther or give me a better education than a state could?

There is nothing wrong with considering several schools and picking the one you think will most suit you.

If you like the environment of a particular private school better than your state one and feel you will be more happy and productive there, by all means go for it.
