Confusing situation!

I have a confusing situation. I called CNCP yesterday (02/13) and the lady told me she was sending in my acceptance letter at that moment! <---yes thats how excited i was...anyways, she also mentioned that she was sending me an email right away. I never got the email, so I decided to call them again today just to make sure. I talked to the same lady and she told me that she never sent an email, but she mentioned that I should be receiving a letter soon through snail mail since she sent that out TWO days ago (02/12). She never mentioned acceptance letter or anything...this has got me paranoid. Could it be a different "David" that she was thinking when I first called her? I did not give her my last name, but I did tell her that my name was David and I interviewed on Feb. 1...The two things thats worrying me is that she never sent me an email when she told me she would and she told me that she was sending in the acceptance letter when I called yesterday (02/13), but when I called today, she told me she sent the "letter" TWO days ago (02/12). What do you guys think??? I was on the verge of cancelling one of my other interviews b/c I thought I got into this school. Do you guys think there may have been a misunderstanding??? I really hope not! 😕

Oh god I hope not! 😱 How disappointing that would be... 🙁 Guess you'll have to wait (I know it's going to be hard) and see if the letter shows up. If if doesn't show up by like Tuesday (19th) then call back and see what's going on. Also check and recheck your spam box in your email and make sure it's not sitting in there or something.

Wow dude, I feel for ya, that is not a fun situation to be in. Since according to your dates you were able to stay away from the phones today, I would definitely call tomorrow, the 15th, and straigthen it out with that lady (assuming you know her). If I was in your shoes, I would clearly tell her my full name and ask her to make sure that I was accepted since I never received the e-mail she promised. Gotta hand it to you though, you got some patience. I would have been back on the phone 10 minutes after her e-mail promise. I mean we are talking about an acceptance afterall. Good luck, hopefully you get this straigthened out and be able to celebrate.

Sorry, on second thought, (just occurred to me) call tomorrow ASAP first thing and give her any info she needs, full name, interview date, social # if needed and see if there is any possible mix up.

you didn't give her your last name!!?? I hope everything goes well....david is a very common name, so is my name...I would have asked "ARE YOU SURE???" My name is "INSERT FIRST AND LAST HERE" 😎

I would also call her. Just remind her that she told you she was sending an acceptance letter and email and clarify whther or not you were the DAvid she was refering to. And don't cancel any other interviews until you have your acceptance letter in hand and have sent in your deposit. Don't take nay chances.

Congrats! Glad you got the letter you were anticipating. It would've sucked to get a rejection after being told you were accepted.
