Confusion between AMCAS Application: 2014 or 2015?

I can't find a clear answer on the website, they probably only have it in the MSAR.

I'm taking the MCAT May 5th this year, and then (hopefully) applying June 2014 when I get the scores back.

Now there's the 2014 application that's open right now, and there's the 2015 application opening May 1st.

Do I wait for the 2015 one, or can I begin filling out the 2014 one.

I believe it says this pretty clearly on the website, but you apply for the year you wish to enter medical school. 2015 application is for 2014-15 application cycle. It doesn't open for another couple months.

Well it says in red letters, for 2014 Entering Class Only, on the one that's open right now (2014). Yet for all the deadlines, they for some reason choose to completely omit the YEAR....

So I didn't know if it meant entering as in, when you plan to attend, or when you plan to enter your application.

it means when you plan to enter medical school. So yes, wait until the 2015 one is out to beginning filling stuff in.
The important dates right underneath the sign in are in reference to this year (May 1, 2014 - 2015 AMCAS application opens, etc)

Idk why they're still accepting applications since all schools are well passed their due date. AMCAS should close for the year once the last school's due date has passed
