hey guys, i was wondering something about SUNY buffalo dental school.. does everybody become a resident after their first year?? i've kept calling them, and i hear something different from everybody. i wanna hear it from somebody whos been here done it. i dont plan on buying a house or anything, just leasing.

and on top of that i' still havent made up my mind where i wanna go to school!! its kinda between nova, buffalo, and possibly baltimore right now. nova is in FL but if i become resident of NY buffalo is cheaper.. and UMB has awesome new building... ha i dunno, any opinions would be appreciated!

Yes, you can become a resident of NY and pay in-state tuition for your sophomore year at Buffalo as long as you start renting by Aug 1, 2005. (In other words, by Aug 1, 2006 -- the start of your sophomore year -- you will have lived in the state for 12 months, the required length of time before you can become a NY resident.)
