The Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) would like to congratulate the matching class of 2012!

Founded in 1983, ARRO is an independent organization that represents radiation oncology residents in the United States. The objectives of ARRO are to formalize resident input into professional organizations affecting radiation oncology residents, to disseminate information, and to foster communication among residents. Each year, ARRO hosts the ARRO Career Seminar at the ASTRO Annual Meeting as well as the ARRO Reception. The ARRO Reception is an annual event that gives residents the opportunity to network with each other during a casual reception. ARRO also hosts monthly journal club webinars.

We welcome you to join our Facebook group page and get the latest news on issues relating to residency.

We also welcome you to check out our website for useful links and our forums for important announcements, useful websites, and other information.

During residency, you can become involved with ARRO as a member of the Executive Board or as a subcommittee member (Education, Website, and Global Health Initiative). We look forward to your participation when you start residency!

Sincerely,

The 2011-2012 ARRO Executive Board

ARRO is taking suggestions for the 2011 ASTRO Annual Meeting Program in Miami this October (yes, that's right... Miami). Check out http://cs.astro.org/forums/p/1057/1173.aspx#1173 or see today's ARROgram for information on submitting suggestions or topics for discussion to the ARRO board.
