thanks! It is such a strange feeling, that I'm actually IN vet school, finally. I just finished day 2 as well, although we've done orientation / stress lectures / financial lectures, etc, and the REAL classes start tomorrow (5 classes, then lab, they throw you right in!)
We did a field day last Friday at a local boyscout camp, where we worked in teams doing crazy team-building exercises (in the sweltering 104 degree Mississippi heat!), and it actually was a lot of fun, and getting to know just a few people in your class outside of the classroom makes stepping into that room Monday morning a little bit easier as well.
It's been great meeting all of my new classmates, and more importantly I now definitely know that I'm at the right school and that I made the right choice, which is such a relief =)
Goodluck to everyone else starting in the coming weeks! (I'm jealous to all who have white lab coats, ours are khaki (ew) because each class year has a different color here!)
and goodluck to those currently filling out their VMCAS application, you can do it!
