I have a bachelors in math and a masters in education. I thought I wanted to be a high school math teacher, but ended up hating it. I'm currently working for a math textbook publisher, but I'm very interested in working in the healthcare field, particularly physical therapy. I have quite a few pre-reqs I would need to complete before I can apply to a DPT program, so I wouldn't be able to apply for awhile. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for jobs I could search for in the meantime that would give me experience in this field and help me decide if I'm really interested. Are there full-time jobs available that are related to physical therapy for someone without a background in medicine? I'm interested in any other ideas you have to help me decide if I'm truly interested in this field or things to do to prepare to apply to PT school in a few years.
