Hey all,

Have any of you directly contacted program officers before? I'm beginning to work on an NRSA and my advisor suggested I come up with a brief summary of my study to send to potential program officers at NIMH, NICHD, NIDA, etc. in order to gauge potential interest and determine the best potential funding source. I'm just wondering what that summary should look like. Thanks in advance!

This. Haven't done it for an NRSA, but spoke with Program Officers a lot at my RA job. A quick phone chat should do it.
