Contacting Residency Programs Through ERAS

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if it is possible to contact residency programs directly through ERAS? I see an option to reply to messages received from programs, but no option to write a message to programs where I have not received anything. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong spot? Was wanting to update certain programs regarding something. If this isn't possible, I can always just email programs through my school email, but was hoping to do everything through ERAS if possible. Thanks for the help!
