As far as the Dec 3 decisions that dental schools send out to applicants that have interviewed pre-Dec, it seems to me that there's only one of three options. Either an applicant is:

1) Accepted 😀
2) Waitlisted/Alternate List/Next to Be Contacted 🙁
2) Continuing Review/Decision Not been Made 😕

Am I correct? Or are there any applicants who is rejected after an interview?

Also, I was wondering which situation puts me at a better situation to be accepted into a school. If I am on continuing review for a school that I have interviewed at Pre-Dec, or at a school that offered me a post-Dec interview.

I was actually rejected by a school I interviewed at a couple of days after Dec. 3rd, so it is possible, I just think it might be less common. It took a few days for the rejection letter to come in the snail mail. It was a little surprising, I thought the interview went well, but I'm not sad or anything because I felt the school wasn't right for me, either (but I didn't mention it at all).
