I know many contour on the wacom touch monitors and really like them, but they are $$$. I tried a Wacom touch tablet (as I have heard some do) but didn't like it.

Has anyone tried to contour on a consumer multitouch monitor? i.e. there is a ViewSonic TD2220 22-Inch multitouch on amazon for $266.

Thanks.

I don't see why not. I believe it just works as a mouse. You could get a stylus or use your finger.

Can't wait for the day when you could do that on a tablet with a digitizer. The Samsung Galaxy Note tablets and phones have smart styluses (styli?) that would allow for something like that I think. Would be cool to contour on the go

The future is contouring with Google Glass using just your eyeballs.

No, the future is hooking up a miniaturized linear accelerator to Google Glass so you can treat patients just by looking at them.

I can see it now:

<Prostate cancer patient walks in>

Patient: "Doctor, I'm really nervous about this treatment. I've read that I have to lie flat on my back for twenty minutes and that is really hard for me because of my sciatica."

<Radiation Oncologist says nothing but stares at patient's crotch for two minutes>

Patient: "Doc . . . why are you staring at my crotch?"

<Rad Onc looks up>

Rad Onc: "No worries, your done! Next patient."
