There seems to be a lot of overlap between terminology/delay times.

How is a portal venous phase different from a corticomedullary phase? Then, there's a nephrogram phase. You also have a CT Urogram protocol. Any tables/figures/resources to better understand these phases?

Corticomedullary phase= arterial phase (image about 30 seconds after giving iv contrast). Good differentiation of renal cortex and medulla

Nephrographic phase = portal venous phase (image about 70 seconds after giving iv contrast). More homogenous renal parenchyma appearance.

Urographic phase (image 5-10 minutes after contrast given). Good opacification of collecting system

It's not exactly that simple, but that's the basic gist of it
