Does anyone know a good resource for converting the latest editions of Big Robbins page numbers to medium robbins?

For example, assignment is to read pp. 643-646 in Big Robbins. I'd like to know pages would correlate in medium robbins?

I, of course, know the general subject I'm supposed to read for already, but just looking for a shortcut! 😀

subtract 4 from the first number, add 8 to the second number, and then divide by 4.1...

and then just read the frickin' chapter.

Unfortunately there isn't always a reliable way to predict because they paraphrase or take out kind of all over the place. Minus that stupid quote in the neoplasia chapter about everything fun being immoral, illegal, or carcinogenic.

Use the table of contents. I think that's as close as you're gonna get.

This is perhaps the funniest thing i've ever seen on SDN... of course... the great Robbins big book/medium book algorithm.

Your shortcut is that you sit down and do this for yourself. It's not particularly difficult or time-consuming if you have access to both books or just their Tables of Content.

Thanks dad!

you can always rip out the pages of big robbins, throw them up in the air, and then only read whatever is face-up. Oh and toss out any of those folded over pages. None of that bulls#$@ is necessary.
