-COOH is more soluble in water than -OH right? Because it has 2 oxygens? Could you rank all the -COOH derivative in terms of solubility? thanks.

You're probably right about -COOH is more water soluble than -OH group. Anyone has any input?
 
-COOH is more soluble because it has stronger hydrogen bonding than alcohol and because it is more polar than alcohol.
