Hey not much to say past the subject. But just wondering if any 2nd years and up have any suggestions for cool summer programs. Please feel free to share your personal experiences...

Thanks so much....

The Rest and Digest programme, you can also do a fellowship in Drinking.

After that, you can become a fully licensed RD.

Seriously considering it!

Bump anyway...

I spent a few weeks rotating through different specialties in an "externship" at one of our local hospitals offered exclusively to those finished with 1st year. It was a blast and I got to see what it's really going to be like during years 3 and 4. We were paired up with Residents/Interns for each week and followed them around on rounds and to conferences. I did rotations in EM, Hem/Onc, IM, and Cardio. Pretty much everyone else who participated had a blast. Each rotation was a week long, so I still had plenty of time for my road trip and lying on the beach getting tan.

If you can find a program in your area, I would highly recommend it. It'll help you narrow down what you want to do and help you be a little more prepared for the rotations...

Was this at Recieving?
Is it at any other hospitals? Maybe in the E. Lansing area?
