Hey, I am a nursing student and the hospital I have beeen working at is starting to use a new dresssing called COPA I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with this product.

I have not used this product but what are you planning on using it on???

Most of the indications that I saw I would not use it. I would only use it on a Wagner stage ulcer if it was acute. But there are plenty of other products I would use first.

It's a foam dressing good for stage two ulcers with moderate drainage. I work in rahab with lots of SCI and CVA pt's. We use Allevyn Island like crazy. Just make sure they get changed at least twice a week with scant drainage and every day for mod. It's ok for it's purpose give it a 3 out of five stars.

I checked the site out and it seems like a pretty good dressing. Like NurseDude said it is comparable to Allevyn which seems to be a pretty popular brand right now. For those of you who are interested, you can order samples 🙂
