thoughts on top cornea fellowships nowadays? i couldn't find too many thoughts in recent years. thanks!

Harvard, Hopkins, Wills, UCSF, UCLA are great for academics but surgical numbers are not as high as the above places

3 programs that I recall had excellent surgical numbers to also consider applying to are university of Minnesota, Ohio state, and dean McGee.
 
Ohio State: friendly faculty, fellow seemed happy, some of 2014-5 #'s: 182 phacos, refractive: LASIK: 2/PRK: 0, DMEK: 0, DSAEK: 41, PK: 25
Oklahoma: friendly faculty, fellow seemed happy, lost a faculty member resulting in a drop in their surgical volume, +DMEK, refractive: +PRK, currently no LASIK, good didactics
