I am curious to hear people's (applicants, current students?) thoughts on the clinical experience at Cornell. My concern stems mainly from the knowledge that while New York-Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell's primary clinical teaching site) is an amazing hospital, it caters mainly to the wealthy, and my understanding--rudimentary as it may be--is wealthy people often do not permit medical students to "learn" off them. How much are Cornell med students allowed to "do" as oppossed to just shadowing?
